Abstract

IBM Content Management Interoperability Services for FileNet Content Manager (IBM CMIS) Version 1.0 Fix Pack 1 is available for download from the fix pack site (Fix Central).

IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager Version 1.0 Fix Pack 1 contains maintenance updates since the release of Version 1.0. For information about the contents of IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager Version 1.0 Fix Pack 1, see:

Important: Defect fixes are no longer being added to Version 1.0, so it is strongly recommended that you upgrade to a later version, such as Version 2.0.3 Fix Pack 3. To access IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager, Version 2.0.3 Fix Pack 3, you must install IBM Content Navigator. IBM Content Navigator and IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager are installed together by the installation program, but you can deploy CMIS independent of IBM Content Navigator. If you choose not to upgrade to a later version of IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager, you can proceed to download Version 1.0 Fix Pack 1. Fix Pack 1 is a recommended fix pack for Version 1.0 because it contains fixes for issues with the deleteObject operation and the setContentStream operation.

Prerequisites

Ensure that your system meets the software, hardware, and operating system requirements for installing IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager Version 1.0 Fix Pack 1.

IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager Version 1.0 is a prerequisite for this fix pack.

Download Package

Fix Central Download Instructions:

Note: You might need to log on to ibm.com during this process.

  1. Follow the Fix Central (FC) link in the Download Option column.
  2. Select Information Management, which is under Software, in the Product Group field.
  3. Select Content Management Interoperability Services for FileNet Content Manager in the Product field.
  4. Select 1.0.0.0 in the Installed Version field.
  5. Select All in the Platform field.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Select Browse for fixes and click Continue.
  8. Select the fix pack download for your operating system:
    • For AIX, the fix pack download is named FNCMIS_1.0.0.1_AIX.tar.gz.
    • For Linux, the fix pack download is named FNCMIS_1.0.0.1_Linux.tar.gz.
    • For Windows, the fix pack download is named FNCMIS_1.0.0.1_Windows.zip.
  9. Click Continue.
  10. Select your preferred download option in the Select download options area and click Continue.
  11. Click Download now to download the fix pack.

After you download the fix pack, extract the contents of the file.
