IBM Rational Common Licensing iFix01
Download Description
This release of IBM Rational Common Licensing iFix01 fixes the following issue:
TN #1447825 License Key Administrator fails to connect to dual stack IPV6 Rational Key License Server: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&uid=swg21447825.
Prerequisites
Rational Common Licensing version 8.1.1.
Installation Instructions
There are two fixes. One fix is for the Rational License Key Server and the second fix is for Rational License Key Administrator.
To install the Rational License Key Server fix:
1. Download the Rational License Key Server .zip file.
2. Extract the compressed files to an appropriate directory.
3. Add the fix pack repository location in Installation Manager:
- a. Start IBM Installation Manager.
b. In Installation Manager, click File > Preferences > Repositories.
c. Click Add Repository.
d. Browse to or enter the file path to the repository.config file. The repository.config file is located in the directory where you extracted the compressed files.
5. On the main page of Installation Manager, click Update.
6. Follow the instructions to install the fix pack.
7. Start the Rational License Key Server
To install the Rational License Key Administrator fix:
1. Download the Rational License Key Administrator .zip file.
2. Extract the compressed files to an appropriate directory.
3. Add the fix pack repository location in Installation Manager:
a. Start IBM Installation Manager.
b. In Installation Manager, click File > Preferences > Repositories.
c. Click Add Repository.
d. Browse to or enter the file path to the repository.config file. The repository.config file is located in the directory where you extracted the compressed files.
5. On the main page of Installation Manager, click Update.
6. Follow the instructions to install the fix pack.
