This document describes how to download and assemble WebSphere Integration Developer V7.0.0 Fix Pack 3 (7.0.0.3) for Linux platforms.

WebSphere Integration Developer V7.0.0 Fix Pack 3 contains updates for the following: Adapters Business object mapping editor Business process editor Documentation EJB import handler Event monitor Human task Install Integration test client Interface editor Mediation flow editor Monitor Toolkit XML mapping editor XPath editor Note: WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus have enabled a new lazy parsing mode for business objects in version 7.0.0.3. Although the lazy parsing mode is available for all components of 7.0.0.3, usage of the business object lazy parsing mode is not supported for mediation flow components. For modules containing mediation flow components, use of the business object lazy parsing mode is offered as a technology preview, and should only be used by early adopters. IBM provides the business object lazy parsing mode technology preview for mediation flow components "as is" and does not include IBM support as specified in the version 7 WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus license agreement under the terms for technology preview code. The business object eager parsing mode (which corresponds with the business object parsing mode in all previous version 6.x releases) continues to be the default in version 7.0.0.3, and remains the business object parsing mode for production use for any module that contains mediation flow components. WebSphere Integration Developer 7.0.0.3 allows the business object lazy parsing mode to be selected for a module that contains one or more mediation flow components, but displays a warning dialog to indicate that this mode is not fully supported for the selected module. Prerequisites

Prior to applying this fix pack, you must have WebSphere Integration Developer 7.0 or higher installed. If you are upgrading from WebSphere Integration Developer V7.0.0 Fix Pack 2, you must first upgrade to WebSphere Integration Developer V7.0.0.2 Interim Fix 001 before upgrading to V7.0.0 Fix Pack 3. Also, ensure that you have the IBM Installation Manager 1.4.1 or higher installed.

Installation Instructions

It is recommended that you install the fix pack directly from the IBM update server; however, it is also available for download. You might want to download and install the fix pack in the following situations:

You have a slow or unstable Internet connection and want to use a download manager that can resume the download.

You have difficulty accessing the live IBM update servers from behind a firewall.

You prefer to download the fix pack and install it later.

If you choose to download the fix, then perform the following steps:

Download Fix Pack 3 (wid7003_fixpack.zip).

Extract the fix pack to a temporary directory, such as C:\temp\.
