This APAR will ship Java™ IBM Software Developer's Kit (SDK) V6.0 SR4 plus several fixes requested by Rational Team Concert 2.0.
ERROR DESCRIPTION:
Applying this WebSphere Application Server Java SDK Interim Fix will upgrade your Java V6.0 SDK to SR4 plus IZ49635, IZ45776, IZ49644.

PROBLEM SUMMARY
The Interim Fix will supply fixes for the following APARS:
IZ49635 - NIO TEMPORARY SELECTOR LEAK
IZ45776 - JAVA 5 JIT CRASH IN VALUE PROPAGATION
IZ49644 - COMPILED JAVA METHOD PRODUCES INCORRECT RESULTS FROM BYTE OR SHORT ARRAYS
USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server V7.0.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Refer to APARS IZ49635, IZ45776, IZ49644.
RECOMMENDATION:
Apply Interim Fix for APAR PK86771 to fix the problems listed above.
PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
The iFix is built on SDK 1.6 SR4. However, this SDK iFix can be applied to any SDK 1.6 SR4 and lower. By doing so, the SDK will be replaced with SDK 1.6 SR4 + this iFix
