Abstract

The same instance of the JMS message may be delivered to both instances of a subscription consumer.

PK66053 resolves the following problem:

ERROR DESCRIPTION:
When doing a subscribe to a topic from two consumers on the same server the same instance of the JMS message may be delivered to both instances of the consumer.

LOCAL FIX:

PROBLEM SUMMARY

USERS AFFECTED:
Users of the Service Integration Bus default messaging with multiple subscription consumers.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The same instance of the JMS message may be delivered to both instances of a subscription consumer.

RECOMMENDATION:
None

If two publish/subscribe consumers are located on the same server, they were given the same in-memory copy of a JMS message. This has been fixed so we now take a new copy of the message for each consumer.

PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
This fix resolves the problem.
