General Description:
====================
This Interim Fix contains fixes for problems related to TDI Installation on solaris platform.

Fix For:
========
APAR: IO08144,IO08088

Details:
========
IO08144 - Solaris 10 will not shutdown after uninstall of TDI.
IO08088 - TDI fails install on Solaris 10.

Prerequisites:
==============
For APAR IO08144 TDI must be installed on Solaris, and
For APAR IO08088 IBM JRE must be available on machine ( either 1.4.2 or 1.5) and SI 1.2.1 must be installed on the machine.

Note:While attempting TDI install SI 1.2.1 will get installed first.

Applying the Interim Fix :
==========================
If the user requires additional Solaris 10 support provided by SI, the SI 1.2.1 Fixapack 21 image may be installed independently from TDI before the TDI installer is invoked.
Following are the steps to apply the SI 1.2.1 Fixpack 21 image:
1) Unzip the SI_121_IBM_20080219D2.zip image to a local directory.
2) From a terminal/command line prompt, cd into the cd_image directory resulting from the previous unzip command.
3) Run the following command from the cd_image directory:
. si_inst.sh -javaHome <jre_directory>
where <jre_directory> refers to the location of your preferred Java Runtime Environment home directory. For example, /opt/IBMJRE-1.4.2/jre. If no -javaHome flag is
specified, the default system JRE will be used for the install.
4) The install should return with a success message either indicating a successful Upgrade installation or base Installation.
5) If you do not receive a success message from this SI installation, please contact your TDI representative.

Confirming the Fix has been applied successfully:
