This fix pack is an update for the WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for WebSphere MQ, version 2.8.1.
This fix pack includes the following fixes:
CR67943/JR23111
The Connector fails if paused and restarted. Previously, a poll failure error would be generated with status code -9 and subsequently on restart, the adapter would fail to process any events. This problem was rectified by adding code that stored the events during pause and also is thread safe.
CR83233/JR23156
The adapter remains in poll cycle until the max Poll Quantity is reached. Previously, the adapter repeatedly polled the input destination until the end of poll cycle even if it had no messages. Also, if all the configured input destinations were empty, the adapter would poll them until the end of poll cycle. This fix ensures that if any of the destination are found empty (No messages) during a poll cycle, it will not be polled again till the end of poll cycle. Also, if all of the configured input destinations are found empty, the adapter comes out of poll cycle.
This fixpack should be installed on 2.8.1 version of WebSphereMQ adapter.
After the installation of the WebSphereMQ Fix Pack 2.8.2 fixpack using the installer, the following files will be replaced,
connectors\WebSphereMQ\CWWebSphereMQ.jar,
