How to add JDBC properties for a database connection in Data Server Manager (DSM)?
Cause
There is a need to add additional JDBC properties to a database connection in DSM, for example, add tracing information.
Answer
Here are the steps to add the additional JDBC properties to a database connection in DSM:
1. From the menu on the left side, select Settings --> Manage Connections.
2. The Database Connection tab is shown
3. Select the database to add the additional JDBC properties
4. Click on Edit button
5. Select the Advanced JDBC properties tab
6. Enter the JDBC property and the its value
7. Click on Add buttion
8. Test the connection (optional)
9. Click OK button to save the database connection
