This formalizes support for Windows® Server 2012 and 2012 R2 in WebSphere® Data Interchange Version 3.3

Answer

As of this date, WebSphere Data Interchange Version 3.3 formalizes support status for interaction with Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2. WDI has been tested on Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 with WDI 3.3 in a lab environment.

Users should apply the latest WDI Server Fix Pack (11) before creating the database. The latest Fix Pack can be downloaded from the following URL:

Note: also corrected on Server Fix Pack 11 is the following particular issue encountered only in this environment:

APAR PI46858
Exporting DT map with associated EDI standard containing composites may show a MBCS error with DB2 when a field contains an invalid MBCS character. This failure surfaces in regression test EXPORT_MAP_DT only in Windows 2012.
