Migrating reports from TCR 2.1.1 to JazzSM TCR through the Cognos UI

Export directly from the TCR 2.1.1 Cognos UI:

1. Log into your TCR 2.1.1 instance as your primary admin user (usually "tipadmin").
2. Navigate to Reporting > Common Reporting
3. Click the Launch dropdown, and then Administration
4. Click the Configuration tab
5. Click the Content Administration option.
6. Click the "New Export" icon (third icon in the group on the right side of the "Administration" page).
7. Give the export a name in the Name field, and then click Next.
8. Chose the "Select the entire content store" option. Do NOT select the "Include user account information" check box. Click Next,
9. Click Next again to get to the page to set the export archive password.  Set a password for the export archive.  Remember this password!
10. Verify the export settings and then click Next.
11. Choose the "Save and run once" option, and then click Finish.
12. Collect the export archive (zip) file from the following directory:
<TIP Home>/../tipv2Components/TCRComponent/cognos/deployment/

1. Move the archive produced from the TCR 2.1.1 export to the following directory on the DASH server:
<JazzSM Home>/reporting/cognos/deployment/
2. Log into DASH as the primary admin user (usually "smadmin").
3. Click the "Reporting" icon > Common Reporting
4. Click the Launch dropdown, and then Administration
5. Click the Configuration tab
6. Click the Content Administration option.
7. Click the "New Import" icon (third icon in the group on the right side of the "Administration" page).
8. Enter the password for the archive.
9. Click Next through the remaining panels, and then Finish to complete the import.

1. On the TCR 2.1.1 server tar/zip the <TIP Home>/../tipv2Components/TCRComponent/data directory.
2. On the JazzSM/TCR server, make a backup of the <JazzSM Home>/reporting/data directory.
3. Copy the tar/zip file from step 1 to the <JazzSM Home>/reporting/ and unpack it. Allow it to replace the contents of the existing data directory.
