Troubleshooting
Problem
The validation rules for some of text fields in tags 50F and 59F of the IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) Pack for SWIFT have been updated in the Java Validation Component (JVC) so as to properly fail the message when blank lines are present.
Symptom
Prior to this change, certain fields with blank lines were not failing validation as required by the SWIFT standard.
Cause
JVC validation rules governing blank lines were incorrect.
Environment
IBM WebSphere TX Pack for SWIFT 4.3.4 Java Validation Component on all supported platforms
Diagnosing The Problem
An invalid SWIFT message may pass JVC validation.
