How to configure a different location for Database Configuration logging directory?
Cause
Change Database Configuration root logging directory.
Answer
You can specify a log directory when you manually run the ConfigDB script, using the following command:
From the command prompt > configdb.bat -l -dC:\MAXLOGS
There is no space between '-d' and directory path (for example, C:\MAXLOGS). The folder must already exist, as the script does not have the ability to create a new folder.
You can only do specify the location when running ConfigDB via command line prompt, as there is no place to set the Database Configuration log file path in the front end application.
