Where can I download DB2 Developer Edition installation media?
Answer
1) Go to Passport Advantage to download the Quick Start and Activation for DB2 Developer Edition. See Related URL.
Example:
IBM DB2 Developer Edition - Quick Start and Activation V10.5 for Linux,
UNIX and Windows Multilingual (CN14AML) 4MB
2) Download the required DB2 fixpack since they also contain a full installation image. This can be DB2 ESE.
After the license is applied
C:\>db2licm -l
Product name: "IBM Database Enterprise Developer
Edition"
License type: "Developer"
Expiry date: "Permanent"
Product identifier: "db2dede"
Version information: "10.1"
Product name: "DB2 Enterprise Server Edition"
