Problem
The Tivoli Storage Manager Server command " Validate Lanfree " can fail with the error: ANR4373E session rejected by target server STA1 reason: 8 - Down Level
Cause
Reason: 8 - Down Level indicates that the Storage Agent is at a version
greater than the Tivoli Storage Manager server.
Resolving The Problem
Ensure that the Tivoli Storage Manager server is at a level equal to or greater than the Storage Agent referenced in the validate lanfree command.
