Troubleshooting
Problem
User clicks "Group - Consolidate with Status". User runs a consolidation. In the batch queue, the message "Finished with error" appears. Double-clicking on the error gives the details.
Symptom

Cause
There are several possible causes for similar "Cannot insert
duplicate key" errors when consolidating.

This Technote specifically relates to the scenario where the cause is a defect (APAR PM83561) in Controller 10.1.2670 and earlier.
Resolving The Problem
Upgrade to Controller 10.1.2671 or later (for example 10.2 or later).
