Problem

TADDM ITIC sync failure due to UnmarshalException

Symptom

Attempting to run ITIC sync when receiving the following failure:

07 Nov 2014 20:07:25:179 [ERROR]
TADDMActualCI.validateTaddmDeletedGuids(): Received an exception from
TADDM while verifying the list of deleted GUIDs.
java.rmi.ServerException: RemoteException occurred in server thread;
nested exception is:
java.rmi.UnmarshalException: invalid method hash

Resolving The Problem

This error is usually received due to wrong or outdated TADDM jar files existing on the ITIC server.

Check the following two TADDM jar files on the ItIC server in $ITIC/lib and compare the same with the
once placed on the TADDM server in $COLLATION_HOME/dist/lib/

-taddm-api-client.jar

-platform-model.jar
