Problem
IBM Rational Test Workbench (RTW) Mobile Extension 8.6.0.1 on iOS 8 does not record UIAlertView and UIActionSheet actions.
Cause
In iOS 8 SDK, the interpretations of UIAlertView and UIActionSheet are different. Buttons within those components no longer exist in iOS 8 SDK. These components are also deprecated in iOS 8. The replacement is UIAlertController.
RTW Mobile extension 8.6.0.1 does not support the way how the UIAlertView and UIActionSheet are interpreted in iOS 8. The same applies to UIAlertController.
Resolving The Problem
Upgrade to RTW Mobile 8.6.0.2 or newer to have support for UIAlertView, UIActionSheet and UIAlertController as provided from iOS 8 onwards.
