Abstract
You are required to install an IBM System Storage SAN switch firmware update in your IBM Smart Analytics System 5600, 7600, 7700, or IBM PureData System for Operational Analytics A1791 environment.
Content
1. Download the recommended firmware version using the link that is provided in the Download URL column of the security bulletin.
2. Copy the firmware update to a temporary directory on the management node such as /tmp and extract the contents.
3. SSH into the SAN switch as the admin user.
4. Run the firmwaredownload -s command and respond to the interactive prompts. The following example shows the interactive menu with the user required inputs highlighted in bold:

5. After rebooting the SAN switch, SSH into the SAN switch as the admin user and run the firmwaredownloadstatus command to view the update process.
