Using refresh interval on graphical Plan View and APAR IV25226

Troubleshooting

Problem

Using a refresh interval and a search filter criteria of job stream cause native heap leak to accumulate rapidly.

Symptom

Refresh of graphical Plan View accumulates 80 bytes native heap memory leak and leads to a shortage of a native heap. It is possible to occur even if searched objects are less than 1000.

Resolving The Problem

1. Apply the fixpack which includes APAR IV25226.
IV25226: TWS MDM LEAKS MEMORY WHEN TDWC IS USED TO QUERY THE PLAN AND THE QUERY RETURNS LESS OBJECTS THAN THE FILTER SELECTS FOR.

The APAR is fixed in following fixpacks and later fixpacks.
-TWS 8.5.1 FP0005
-TWS 8.6.0 FP0002

2. Do not use refresh interval, so that leaks do not accumulate rapidly to impact environment in a short time.
