What is the OpenSSH version used in the Cast Iron OS?

Answer

Here are the Open SSH versions on the Cast Iron OS (CIOS) :

On CIOS 7.0.0.1, OpenSSH version is OpenSSH_6.1p1
On CIOS 6.3.0.X, OpenSSH version is OpenSSH_5.1p1
On CIOS 6.1.0.15 OpenSSH version is OpenSSH_5.1p1

To find the version of the OpenSSH used on the appliance, the following commands can be used.

Note: This requires login access to the shell so you will need to open a service request with Cast Iron L2 Support to perform these command commands.

1. SSH and login to the appliance.
2. Run CLI command: system shell ( With Cast Iron L2 help type in the password to login to shell)
3. Run command: ssh -version
