How to activate MDM v11 bundled DB2 and RAD

Question

The DB2 and RAD bundled in InfoSphere MDM v11 is not licensed. The RAD is getting expired, and the db2licm -l command for DB2 is showing "License not registered". How to activate the bundled DB2 and RAD?

Answer

Customers who are using MDM v11 bundled DB2 and RAD, need to download the activation kit separately from IBM Passport Advantage (PPA).

For bundled DB2, please search for part number "CI71NML", it will lead you to
"IBM DB2 Enterprise Server Edition 10.1 for Restricted Use - Quick Start and Activation"

For bundled RAD, please search for part number "CIRU9ML", it will lead you to
"IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software V8.5 Activation Kit Windows English"
