ITCAM for AD Managing Server VE Help page does not work.

Question

Pressing the Help function from the ITCAM VE shows a blank screen

Answer

  • Make sure that the class loader for the Help application is set according to the screen shot below :

Go to the screen by log in to your WAS admin and choose as follows :

a. Applications -> Application Types
b. WebSphere enterprise applications (this will show "Enterprise Applications" on right panel)
c. The "Enterprise Applications" screen includes a table that has a list of Names.
"eclipseHelp" is one of the names in the list. Click "eclipseHelp". ->
Now you will see the "configuration" screen.
d. Under "Detail Properties", click "Class loading and update detection".
e. Check if your screen looks like this (below). If not, set it as it shows.
