Problem

Collecting data for IBM Maximo Scheduler problems. Gathering this information before calling IBM support will help you with the troubleshooting process and save time analyzing the data.

Resolving The Problem

This technote describes what information you need to gather to begin troubleshooting a Maximo Scheduler or Graphical Assignment issue.


If you have not compiled the General information, Please see General Collecting Data document 1313647 and include that information.

Collect the following files and information:

1. Scheduler version and core Maximo version. Include information on the level of any Interim Fixes that are installed as well as any Limited Availability fixes.
      Select “Help/System Information” from a Maximo session
2. Maximo.log file reproducing the problem with the following logging properties enabled:
      Set the Log Level for both the SCHEDULER Root Logger and the SCHEDULERSQL Root Logger DEBUG.

3. Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version that is installed on the workstation.
    Note:
      Maximo Scheduler 7.1 requires JRE 1.6.
      Maximo Scheduler 7.5 requires JRE 1.6 update 32 or higher or JRE 1.7 update 4 or higher.
      Maximo Scheduler 7.6.0 requires JRE 1.7_75 or higher
      Maximo Scheduler 7.6.1 requires JRE 1.8_45 or higher
4. Provide a document outlining steps to reproduce the issue with screen shots to better illustrate the scenario.
