Problem
An "undefined" error message occurs when uploading an invalid plugin in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Symptom
If you attempt to upload an invalid plugin in an Internet Explorer web browser, you receive the message "undefined" in an error pop-up. If you the same in Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, the correct error message occurs.
Cause
This occurs when uploading a plugin that does not validate, possibly because it does not have a valid plugin.xml file.
Resolving The Problem
You can view the correct error message in the server log file.
