Abstract

You can look up APAR's on the WebSphere® Data Interchange for z/OS® Support page, then order the associated PTF from these documents on the Support page.

How to order a PTF from the Web:

  1. Go to the APAR List for WebSphere Data Interchange for z/OS. Note that you can narrow the search by adding descriptive keywords after "5655I4003" in the "Search support and downloads" field.
  2. Click the APAR you wish to obtain a fix for. This takes you to the APAR text.
  3. Click "Obtain the fix for this APAR".
  4. Click on the PTF number link under "Applicable component levels" to get to the "Get zSeries related fixes" Web site.
  5. Choose "Electronic or physical delivery" through IBMLink or ShopzSeries
  6. On the next screen, provide your IBM ID and password to sign in.
  7. Answer the questions related to delivery of the PTF.
    For example:
    ship fixes for known PTF's in error
    • ship superseding PTF's
    • pre-requisites, co-requisites and if-requisites.
    • YES is the default setting for these questions.
    • Type your email address, then click Continue.
  8. On the next screen, click Submit to complete the request. You will receive emails from bldml:
    Confirmation of request.
    Download instructions for the FTP site and the location of the PTF.
