Abstract

IBM Security SiteProtector System can be affected by a vulnerability in the IBM Eclipse Help System (IEHS). This vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to obtain the source code of the Help System.

DESCRIPTION:
IBM Security SiteProtector System’s internal Help System contains a vulnerability that could allow disclosure of the source code of the help system.

The attack does not require specialized knowledge or techniques, but does require single instance authentication and network access. An exploit could impact the confidentiality of information, but the integrity of data and the availability of the system are not compromised.

Apply the appropriate DataBase Service Pack (DBSP)

For IBM Security SiteProtector System 2.8.1: apply DBSP 9.23

For IBM Security SiteProtector System 2.9: apply DBSP 2.9.0.13
