BMXAA4191E - Condition NOTSAFARI is not valid.

Question & Answer

Question

The migration package fails on missing Conditional expression NOTSAFARI when using Migration Manager and migrating Security Groups from one environment to another. .

Cause

The conditional expression "NOTSAFARI" is missing in the system you are importing to.

Answer

There are a number of ways to resolve this problem:

1. Make certain both systems are at the same patch and hot fix level.

The Domain is added as part of a patch fix. The exception is occurring because both systems are not at the same patch level. So confirm if one system is slightly different and apply the missing patch or fix.

2. Manually add the missing Domain value.

To do this you would need to logon to Maximo and manually add the Conditional Expression for NOTSAFARI. To do this you would also need to bring across the missing class file.

It may be better to apply the patch or fix which contains this fix.

3. Alter the Migration Manager Package to bring over the DMCONDITIONAL objects.

This way the missing condition is migrated with the Security Groups.
