MDM installation on WebSphere Application Server Base deployment hangs on the installer WebSphere Application Server configuration panel.

Troubleshooting


Problem

While installing MDM using the IBM Installation Manager , the installer hangs when you select Base deployment on the WebSphere Application Server Configuration panel and attempt to move to the next panel.

Cause

After selecting Base deployment, the WebSphere Application Server credential certificate attempts to load so that you can accept the certificate. If you click Next or move to another window in Windows before the certificate loads, the certificate does not display causing the installer to hang because it is waiting for user input.

Resolving The Problem

While installing MDM, do not click Next or switch to another panel until the certificate has
loaded and you have accepted it.
