Problem
Access to extraneous perspectives through the Eclipse Quick Access toolbar could leave schema designers in an undesired perspective with no apparent way to get back.
Cause
The version of Eclipse that is used as the basis for the ClearQuest Designer was changed for ClearQuest version 8.0.1. The Quick Access toolbar contribution item was not removed, but it might be removed in a future release.
Resolving The Problem
To return to the correct perspective, click the Quick Access toolbar, and then select the "Rational ClearQuest Designer" perspective.
Doing work in any perspective other than the Rational ClearQuest Designer perspective is not supported. Using functionality that is only accessible through the Quick Access toolbar is not supported. The Quick Access toolbar might be removed in a future release and should not be considered as supported functionality for ClearQuest 8.0.1.
