Abstract

This formalizes support for IBM DB2 11 for z/OS when being used with WebSphere Data Interchange Version 3 Release 3 Modification 0.

As of this date, WebSphere Data Interchange Version 3.3.0 formalizes support status for interaction with IBM DB2 11 for z/OS. WDI V3.3.0 and DB2 11 have been tested together in a lab environment, including z/OS Version 1.13. Our testing has been performed with WDI V3.3.0 at PTF level UK93968. With WDI V3.3.0 at this level, DB2 11 is considered supported for the z/OS platforms for which WDI product support has been claimed.

During testing, an issue surfaced in the manner in which WDI retrieved rows for Rules, in that in some instances the order in which rows were sorted with DB2 11 were different than the order encountered with other DB2 levels. WDI V3,3 APAR PM88180 (PTF UK93968) should be reviewed and applied to provide consistency in behavior in the selection of the most appropriate Rule for a Map.
