Abstract
The version of Birt that accompanied Maximo 7.5.03 fixpack (3.7.1) handles detail section page breaks differently than previous versions. You may find that some reports - out-of-the-box and custom - have page breaks when there's still plenty of room on the page. This will not be noticeable in the viewer, only the pdf output will be affected.

This is caused by a change in the default page break behavior in the newer version.
Please refer to the section titled "Upgrading to BIRT 371 – Potential page break issues" in the guide
"V7Report Page and Page Break Information" for instructions on how to alter this behavior to avoid the unwarranted page breaks.
