What is the meaning of "Deadlock avoided - addrmentry :" entries in the Launcher debug log file?

Symptom

When enabling full debug logging, there are "Deadlock avoided - addrmentry :" entries in the debug log file.

Cause

“Deadlock avoided - addrmentry :” is an INFO message. It does not indicate that there is a problem with the processing.

The usual scenario that causes this informational message is:

1. A top-level triggering map calls a RUN map via the RUN function.
2. The RUN map tries to read a file in read-only mode and the file is already locked by the higher-level map.
3. The WebSphere Transformation Extender Resource Manager allows the RUN map to continue processing because the RUN map belongs to the same instance that locked the file.
