Changing ownership of an IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) Process Center or Process Server

Troubleshooting

Problem

You have an IBM Business Process Manager Process Center or Process Server that was installed as a root user and you want it to run it as a non-root user. Or, you installed it as non-root and you want it to run it as a root user. Can you change the user type?

Resolving The Problem

This type of change is not supported by IBM. In this scenario, you need to install a new Process Center or Process Server as the user that you desire. Then, you can re-purpose or remove the old one.
