Problem

SOA_MessageHandler in 'Sync mode' causes errors in SCC

Symptom

Switching SOA_MessageHandler BP to Sync mode, as recommended in the 'Approaches on Monitoring GIS Cluster with SCC' document, does not work. SCC 5.0.0.1 fails with the following error:

Resolving The Problem

In SOA HTTP Server Adapter configuration:
1> uri /soap should point to bp SOA_MessageHandler. SOA_MessageHandler executes in Async mode.
2> uri /soap-sync should point to bp SOA_MessageHandler_Sync. SOA_MessageHandler_Sync executes in Sync mode.

The default configuration of SOA HTTP Server Adapter should not be modified. In case it has to be
modified to configure properly, restart of the control center is advisable, although may not be necessary.
