Problem
Gentran:Server - Unable to Create Audit Log COM Server - modify DCOMConfig settings
Symptom
Error generated when trying to open Audit Log from Clients.
Error: "Unable to create Audit Log COM Server"
Error: "[ANConfig] Unable to create SrvSettingsView COM object"
Error: "Error returned: 0x8007007E The specified module could not be found"
Cause
Dcomcfg not set up correctly
Resolving The Problem
Correct the DCOM settings according to the DCOM white paper or using the DCOMFixUtil.exe (available in version 5.3.1 and higher).
