Problem

I am attempting to use the commuter utility to check out a Modeler (Clementine) license. I am accessing a Client installation installed on a server over a terminal services connection. When I select the feature to check out and select "Check out" I see the error: "error while check-out with errorcode: 75", in version 13 and below, or "error while check-out with errorcode: 88" in version 14 why is this?

Resolving The Problem

The above error occurs when a client attempts to check out a commuter license from within an RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) session. For example when remote desktopping into a machine running Modeler (Clementine) on a Terminal Services machine and attempting to check-out a license. Commuting a license is not allowed in this scenario - you must log in locally to the client machine in order to check-out a license
