How to change Monitor's schema name

Troubleshooting

Problem

If for any reason you need to change the schema name after the Monitor installation, simply changing the schema for the database tables is not enough.

Resolving The Problem

1. In the administrative console, go to Environment > WebSphere variables > ABX_SCHEMA and change the value to the new schema name.

2. In the administrative console, go to Resources > Schedulers > DataServicesScheduler and change the value of Table prefix to the new schema name.

3. On the deployment manager or stand-alone server, edit <WAS_root>/profiles/<profile_name>/config/cells/<cell_name>/monitor.xml, and change the value of <schemaQualifier> to the new schema name.

4. In a network deployment environment, perform a full synchronization of the nodes.

5. In a stand-alone environment, stop and restart the server. In a network deployment environment, stop the servers, clusters, node agents, and deployment manager (in that order), then restart the deployment manager, node agents, clusters, and servers (in that order).
