IBM Tivoli Netcool/Impact: Default location for the keystore, server certificate, and truststore

Question & Answer

Question

What is the default location for the keystore, server certificate, and truststore in the application server?

Answer

For Impact 511, the default application server for Netcool/Impact components is WebSphere Application Server and the default location for stores and keys is : $NCHOME/eWAS/profiles/ImpactProfile/etc. When you create the keystore, server certificate and truststore, you must copy these files to a location in the Java application server installation directory.

For Impact 71, which is based on Websphere Liberty Profile, the default location for the Impact Server key stores is <INSTALL DIR>/wlp/usr/servers/<SERVER NAME>/resources/security where the default server name is NCI.

For Impact 61*, which is based on Websphere Application Server, the default location for the Impact Server key stores is <INSTALL DIR>/tipv2/profiles/ImpactProfile/etc.
