Problem
The IBM® MQ Adapter example does not work in WebSphere® Transformation Extender versions 8.1 and later.
Symptom
After you run the IBM MQ Adapter example that is included in the product installation, the output file contains unexpected results.
Cause
The example files, and the instructions about how to run the example that are in the readme.txt file and the WebSphere Transformation Extender IBM WebSphere MQ Adapter documentation, are no longer valid.
Resolving The Problem
WebSphere Transformation Extender has a new set of files for the IBM WebSphere MQ Adapter example.
To use the new example, do the following steps:
- Download and extract the following mq_adapter_example.zip compressed file.
- Replace the example files that are included in the WebSphere Transformation Extender product installation under
<install_dir>\examples\adapters\mq with the files you extracted. - To run the example, follow the instructions that are in the readme.txt file. Ignore the instructions that are in the WebSphere Transformation Extender IBM WebSphere MQ Adapter documentation.
