First GTP on Application failing: CM-REQ-4032 There are no objects in the location

Troubleshooting


Problem

When performing the first GTP on an application the GTP fails when trying to create a Planning Package

Symptom

Following error displayed on screen:

"The Go To Production process failed.

faultstring: CM-REQ-4342 An error occurred with the client.

Cause

Incorrect Planning Package location selected
or Primary content manager server is shutdown and backup is running as primary

Resolving The Problem

1. Select the application in the Contributor Admin Console

2. Expand to Development -> Application Maintenance -> Go To Production option

3. Under Planning Package, ensure that the correct location is selected.

or

If backup content manager server is running as primary, stop the backup content manager and start up the primary content manager server and then run the GTP again.
