Problem
Perspectives crashes Excel when performing the following actions: - In Perspectives, insert active form - Show format area - Select column B - Right-click column B - Insert column - Excel crashes
Symptom
Excel crashes
The event viewer shows two entries. One saying that the faulting module was tm1.xll, another saying that the faulting module was msvcr80.dll.
Cause
The user was running Excel 2007 in compatibility mode.
Resolving The Problem
Changing Excel 2007 to run in normal mode and not in
compatibility mode solved the problem.
