Problem
You cannot execute a BIRT report through the IBM® Rational® RequisitePro® Report Management application when using FireFox® version 3.0 or higher.
Symptom
The full error message is as follows:
"Exception. Version Mismatch"
Cause
In Firefox 3.0 and later versions, the way the XML format is handled has changed. This change makes the BIRT viewer unable to display the BIRT reports.
Resolving The Problem
Use an earlier version of Firefox to run the reports. BIRT 2.2.2 is supported by Firefox 2.x.
Another option is to use Microsoft® Internet Explorer®.
