Troubleshooting
Problem
The ABAP stage validation works in DataStage Designer but the job fails to run.
Symptom
The job fails with the following error message:
RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION:
LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host
ERROR service '<GWNAME>' unknown
Resolving The Problem
Ensure that the services file on the server, for example, /etc/services on Linux, contains the same entries as on the client.
