IIB MustGather: Problems with Deploy on z/OS

Troubleshooting


Problem

You are experiencing an issue during the deployment of an Application or Message Flow in IBM Integration Bus (IIB) on z/OS.
This MustGather document explains how to generate diagnostic data needed by IBM Support to investigate this issue.

Resolving The Problem

  1. Integration Server joblog for the target Integration Server
    • Joblogs contain runtime messages, environment settings, version details and other useful information.
      See: z/OS:Viewing broker joblogs
  2. Project Interchange and BAR files for the problematic deployment
  3. Traces
    • A service level trace of the Integration Server will capture the deploy processing on the Integration Server.
  4. Abends
    • It is possible that the component is abruptly ending.
      Check for abend files in the {MQSI_WORKPATH}/common/errors directory.

  • Tell us what errors you saw, where you saw them, and what time they happened.
  • Let us know if you made any changes before the problem occurred.
  • Share any other observations which you think will help us to better understand the problem.
