How do you change the default IBM® Rational® RequisitePro® RequisiteWeb or ClearQuest® Web HTTP port in version 7.0?
Answer
To change the port for RequisiteWeb or ClearQuest Web, change the following files from 80 to the port you would like to use.
With a text editor open the following files:
- Open the following file and update the Listen 0.0.0.0:80 line to your new port number:
C:\Program Files\Rational\Common\rwp\IHS\conf\httpd.conf
- Open the following file and update the <VirtualHost Name=”*:80” /> line to your new port number:
C:\Program Files\Rational\Common\rwp\EmbeddedExpress\profiles\plugin-cfg.xml
- Open the following file and update the <aliases xmi:id=”HostAlias_2” hostname=”*” port=”80”/> line to your new port number:
C:\Program Files\Rational\Common\rwp\EmbeddedExpress\profiles\profile1\config\cells\DefaultNode\virtualhosts.xml
- Open the following file and update the <aliases xmi:id=”HostAlias_2” hostname=”*” port=”80”/> line to your new port number:
C:\Program Files \Rational\Common\rwp\EmbeddedExpress\profiles\profile2\config\cells\DefaultNode\virtualhosts.xml
- Open the following file and update the
<VirtualHost Name="*:_APACHE_PORT_" />line to your new port number:
C:\Program Files\Rational\Common\rwp\profiles\plugin-cfg.xml
