IBM Support

Date and time format for object_key column in event table of WebSphere Adapter for JDBC

Troubleshooting

Problem

The WebSphere Adapter for JDBC, version 6.0.0.2 supports date fields as primary keys. The WebSphere Adapter for JDBC User Guide, version 6.0 does not describe the date and time format for the object_key column in the event table.

Resolving The Problem

If the key value is of the date or time type for the object_key column in the event table, use the following format:

The date format is yyyy-mm-dd

The time format is hh:mm:ss

To use date and time, the format is yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss
