ClearQuest closes with a Runtime Error in some environments

Problem

IBM Rational ClearQuest can close with a Runtime error when closing the ClearQuest Windows client on the 2003.06.13 and 2003.06.14 versions, if a specific action, such as a Change_State or Modify action, has been performed.

Note: This issue is unrelated to what is described in technote 1146560: Runtime Error! Abnormal program termination where this error can occur if no ClearQuest licenses are available.

Cause

This issue was identified as a product defect and logged under APAR IC45238.

Resolving The Problem

This issue has been resolved in the 2003.06.15 release and later.
