ZZ00688: SCCM CHARSET DETECTOR LIBRARY MAY DETECT WRONG ENCODING FOR INPUT CSR FILE.

• Closed as fixed if next.

Error description

• A JobRunner job XML files processes CSR metering records. One
  set of steps runs SCCM's Integrator to manipulate those records
  and create output CSR records using stage CSROutput. Those
  output records are then read by the following Integrator step
  using the Input stage (and further processed).
  
  That second Integrator step (Input stage) may fail trying to
  read the just-created CSR file.
  Detailed messages in /opt/ibm/sccm/logs/server/ suggest the
  problem is one of encoding:

  Notice the Input stage "detects" encoding IBM424_trl - yet that
  CSR file was just created by a CSROutput stage as UTF-8!
   ../config/logging.properties is set to FINEST level.
  

Local fix

• While debugging, we find that changing the logging level
  to INFO (stop and restart sccm service), then the job
  successfully completes. Switching back to logging level FINEST
  - the job fails with same error.
  

Problem summary

• SCCM charset detector library detecting wrong encoding of input
  csr file .
  fix is provided to customer and will be delivered into ICO 2506
  release
