Error description

  • Client able to create cinder volume and set it as NTFS,
while it loaded to VM there is no partitions/windows
volume, and the disk shows as offline.

Local fix

  • n/a

Problem summary

  • Current format code expect the disks to be online in case of
windows to be able to format them and fails to format .

Problem conclusion

  • Scripts were updated to make disks online and handle error
cases. Fix will be available in next release
