Error description

  • Attempting to access the ICO Administration UI (Horizon)
    without having a region server deployed will result in an
    Administration UI login response:
    You do not have permission to access the resource:
    /admin/hypervisors/
    
    The login will not proceed and you will be returned to the user
    login panel.
    
    The reason for this behavior is that you have attempted to
    login with a user that has a default project which is not
    completely usable. This means that the project may have no
    availability zones assigned or no hypervisors available or
    similar. As soon as the user's default project is completely
    defined, the above problem disappears.
    
    IBM Cloud Orchestrator (ICO) does not consider a valid
    installation to be just only the central servers.  A region
    server must also be deployed in order to have a fully
    configured and fully functional ICO system.

    Note: If you have not yet completed the full ICO installation
    including central servers and at least one region server, you
    will be unable to perform verification on the Administration
    user interface.

    IBM Cloud Orchestrator 2.4 FP1 documentation does not point out
    a manetory region server installation to provide a full
    functional administration UI. At least during installation
    verification steps this should be noted clearely.

    Orchestrator environment (Central Servers and Region Servers),
    you can verify it by completing the following steps."
